SpringHills' TESL Teaching Certificate offers a multi-layered adult learning approach to language teacher education. We offer dynamic, experienced instructors, and we make room for the skills and experience which teacher-candidates themselves bring to the program. Our program includes a strong communicative grammar component, and foreign placement assistance for TESL candidates is built-in to the syllabus, with emphasis on Asia, Latin America and Mexico.

Our TESL Certificate is TESL Canada recognized.

BTESL:

SpringHills' BTESL Teaching Certificate Program is designed to provide currently practicing language instructors with a specialization in teaching Business ESL courses. Such courses are becoming increasingly common in Canada and abroad. SpringHills believes that teaching Business ESL calls for a particular set of adult learning and curriculum design skills. The SpringHills BTESL Certificate Program focuses on the development of such skills by taking a task-based approach. Participants will receive an orientation to Business ESL and then design a series of Business TESL classes based on a real-world needs assessment of specific client groups. SpringHills BTESL instructors are experienced Business ESL instructors/Business ESL curriculum designers with substantial backgrounds in language teacher education.
